  8. Residence Paper (İkametgâh Belgesi) in the name of the Turkish citizen, obtained from local mukhtar and showing marital status of ‘married’
  9. Both spouses must be present for the residence application
  10. Photocopy of the Identity Card (Nüfus Cüzdan) of the Turkish citizen.

  8. For new applications, you must bring notarised translations of Birth Certificates, together with the original documents
  9. Permit for Child to Travel. If mother or father is absent at time of application, Death Certificate, Lost Person’s Certificate, or Certificate showing Ward of Court Status should be presented. Original notarised translations of any documentation not in Turkish must be provided
  10. Original notarised Written Undertaking from mother or father concerning care and upkeep for the child.

  8. Notarised Written Undertaking from mother or father concerning care and upkeep for the child. (Photocopy will not be accepted). Not required of child whose mother or father has Worker’s Residence Permit

  7. Birth Certificate of the child who is a Turkish citizen, together with notarised Turkish translation
  8. Official Residence Certificate (İkametgâh İlmuhaberi) for the Turkish citizen, obtained from local mukhtar
  9. Bank statement showing possession of $300 for each month of the stay. A child who is a Turkish citizen and older than 18 may bring a notarised Written Undertaking from a  parent

6- Residence Permit for Purpose of Study:Documents Required

  5. Proof of Student Status for relevant academic year, issued by the child's school
  6. Foreign Exchange Receipt to the value of $1200, Bank Statement, or Proof of Scholarship
  7. (For pupils at primary or secondary / high school): Written Undertaking from either of the parents
  8. People intending to attend TÖMER may obtain a permit for 1 year, depending on the duration of their visa
  9. In the case of new applications, people applying for a Residence Permit for Purpose of Study must come to Turkey on a Study Visa obtained from a Turkish consulate abroad

  6. Work Visa obtained from Turkish representatives abroad.
  7. Company's List of Authorised Signatures
  8. Photocopy of company’s Operating Certificate.
  9. Photocopy of company’s Tax Registration Certificate
  10. Photocopy of entry for company in Trade Registry Gazette.
  11. Original Residence Permit and photocopy of all used pages.

NOTE 1 -The address on the Permit issued by the Ministry for Labour and Social Security should be the same as the addresses given in the application documents.

  8. Proof of Financial Capacity. (If salaried, provide Contract or Payslip. If unsalaried, provide proof of possession of foreign currency: Statement showing possession of $100 per month, or Scholarship Document).

  6. Original notarised Letter of Attorney for the person who will be present at the application on behalf of the foreign applicant.

  4. 1 coloured Declaration for Residence Permit form (İkamet Beyanname Formu (completed using typewriter or word-processor).
  5. Bank Statement showing capacity of $1000 per month of visit.
  6. If not staying in the home of a Turkish citizen, provide the following documents related to your accommodation: Proof of Hotel Reservation or, if renting,  Leasing Contract for flat and photocopy of Identity Card of landlord named in contract
  7. If staying in the home of a Turkish citizen, provide Residence Document for the Turkish citizen (İkametgâh Belgesi), obtained from local mukhtar
  8. Notarised Written Undertaking by the Turkish citizen with regards to the foreign person (s)he will be hosting.

13- Residence Permit for Person Guaranteeing Departure from Turkey: Documents Required

14- Residence Permit (with Ministerial Approval) for 6-Month Residence Prior to Beginning Work: Documents Required

  4. Residence Permit and photocopy of all used pages.
  5. 1 coloured Declaration for Residence Permit form (İkamet Beyanname Formu (completed using typewriter or word-processor).
  6. The foreigner who has been granted 6 months’ residence by the Ministry of the Interior should come to the application meeting together with a person from the company who has authorisation to sign.
  7. Company's List of Authorised Signatures.
  8. Photocopy of company’s Operating Certificate
  9. Photocopy of company’s Tax Registration Certificate
  10. Photocopy of entry for company in Trade Registry Gazette

NOTE 1:Before you apply to our office, bringing with you the above-mentioned documents, your company should have applied to the Ministry of the Interior to hire a foreign person and the positive response from the Ministry of the Interior should have been sent to us

NOTE 2:The company applying for 6 months’ residence on behalf of a foreign person must still be in operation and should have the same address as that appearing on the documents sent to the office of the Ministry of the Interior and on the documents received by the Office of the Head of the Foreigners' Department.

  • For those already divorced from a Turkish citizen: Detailed Identity Form (Açıklamalı Nüfus Kayıt Örneği) for the Turkish citizen.

  4. 2 Change of Identity Details (Kimlik Bilgilerini Düzenleme) forms.
  5. Child’s Birth Certificate and notarised Turkish translation (if there has been a change to mother’s name, father’s name, place and date of birth).
  6. Certificate of Name Equivalence (İsim Denklik Belgesi) for persons who have different names in their passport and Birth Certificate. Should be obtained from the Public Registrar in their own country.)
